The Chronicles of Riddick- an hour and a half I’ll never get back
I won’t go into the boring, inane plot of this film, but just imagine Conan with ray-guns and you pretty much have it.
Saying that Vin Diesel is a wooden actor is an insult to wood. I honestly believe that a piece of hickory would have had more charisma in this role. And unfortunately, unlike Pitch Black, this time there isn’t a decent script to save the film.
As far as Vin Diesel’s sex symbol status, I can only come to one conclusion: Chicks really REALLY dig muscles, because I can’t imagine any woman getting turned on by that misshapen egg on Vin’s shoulders. Staring at that mug on the big screen for 90 minutes was a torture akin to watching Star Jones try on swimsuits.

Pitch Black was a bloody awesome film. I was lucky enough to see it in Sweden 6 months before its UK release and loved it.
I waited for this film with high expectations only to be bored out of my tiny little mind! If cinema prices werent so bloody extortionate Id have walked out, piece of crap!
Apparently there are 2 more films to come, that will make this an epic on the scale of lord of the rings… somehow I doubt Ill waste any more of my life on this pile of shit!!!!
